A beautiful popular palm with full fronds and golden stems closely clumped together. Excellent large plant to fill a bright space.
LIGHT: Bright indirect light is best. Can tolerate some direct sun, but too much will turn the leaves yellow green.
WATER: Water when the top inch or two of soil is dry. Do not over water. Sensitive to fluoride in tap water, so best to used distilled water or water that has sat out for 24 hrs to let the minerals dissipate. Loves humidity. Too dry of air will turn the tips brown.
FERTILIZER: Feed once or twice during the spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertilizer.
